Ride With GPS Club Account3.0 miles

  1. Get a free Ride With GPS account. Sign up at ridewithgps.com or in the Ride With GPS app (App Store or Google Play). The free account is all you need. Already have an account? Use that one.
  2. Ask to join the club. Go to the club’s page on Ride With GPS, and click Apply to Join. You'll be prompted to sign in if you aren't already. When you see “Request Sent” head to the next cue on this sheet.
  3. Watch your email. A club officer will receive your request to join. Ride With GPS emails you when your request has been approved. (It can take a few days. Check your spam folder too.) The club’s logo will appear on your Ride With GPS dashboard when everything is set up for you.
  4. Ride a club route. In the app, find the Highland Rim Bicycle Club’s routes, pick one, and tap Navigate. Turn-by-turn voice directions and offline maps work on every club route, at no cost to you.
  5. Enjoy the ride. Ride at your own pace: the app’s voice directions will guide you along the route, turn by turn.

What do I get?
Ride With GPS’s paid features, free, on every route in the club’s library:
  • turn-by-turn voice navigation in the app
  • offline route downloads (no cell signal needed)
  • club rides and route collections synced to your phone and other devices
  • Garmin turn alerts and printable map and cue sheets (on the website)

Does it work on my own routes?
Not the premium features. On routes you make yourself, or routes that aren’t the club’s, you have whatever your own Ride With GPS account includes. A free account can still plan and record rides.
Where do the club’s routes come from?
Ride leaders put the routes for their rides in the club’s library, so the route for a ride on our calendar is usually waiting there.
Can I look before I join?
Yes. Anyone can browse the club’s routes on Ride With GPS. Riding them with voice navigation is a club members’ perk.
